Microneedling

 Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a skin-rejuvenating procedure in which tiny needles create punctures in the skin causing collagen remodeling, improvement in skin tone, texture and overall appearance with minimal to no downtime.  Most clients can return to their normal daily activities within an hour of thier treatment.

This treatment can be repeated every four to six weeks until you achieve your desired results. To encourage collagen production, it’s usually recommended that you undergo three treatments to start with, with about four to six weeks time in between each treatment.  If your goal is to reduce the appearance of scars, an average of around three to six treatments is recommended.

Microneedling contraindications include:

• Keloid or raised scarring

• History of eczema, psoriasis and other chronic conditions

• History of actinic (solar) keratosis

• History of herpes simplex infections

• History of diabetes
